Main functions of the
Department of Stakeholders Engagement and Ensuring Adoption of Anti-Corruption Policy Acts:
1) Forming of anti-corruption policy in the field of lobbying, including:
- developing legal acts that regulate specific issues in the field of lobbying, accompanying (if necessary) the procedure of approving such draft legal acts with interested authorities, processing them in the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, government committees, and committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine;
- identifying and analyzing legal acts and its drafts that may affect the field of lobbying in Ukraine, preparing conclusions (positions) of the National Agency regarding such legal acts or their drafts;
- ensuring the maintenance and functioning of the Transparency Register, developing and participating in the development of proposals for its improvement;
- providing recommendations, methodological and consulting assistance on the application of legislation on lobbying, including through the preparation of relevant materials, which are posted in the Transparency Register and the Knowledge Base section of the National Agency's official website;
- conducting preliminary review of reports on possible signs of violation of requirements of the legislation on lobbying.
2) Coordination of the process of forming a Public Council under the National Agency on Corruption Prevention and supporting for its ongoing activities.
3) Participation in engaging the public in the forming, implementation, and monitoring of anti-corruption policy. Providing methodological assistance to independent structural units of the National Agency in interacting with stakeholders regarding developed legal acts in the field of state anti-corruption policy.
