Main functions of the
Directorate for International Cooperation:
1) conducts monitoring of compliance with international obligations, including those concerning EU membership, submits proposals for the development of normative legal acts necessary to ensure compliance with international obligations, including within the framework of European integration, the implementation of international cooperation, and also prepares proposals regarding compliance with international obligations, including within the framework of European integration, the implementation of international cooperation, and the possibilities for its expansion;
2) ensures the implementation of measures within the framework of the approximation of national anti-corruption legislation to European Union law (EU acquis);
3) analyzes and researches possibilities for improving anti-corruption legislation in terms of complying with international obligations and recommendations of international institutions regarding the enhancement of the efficiency of specially authorized entities in the respective field;
4) ensures expert and analytical support for the implementation of international monitoring mechanisms;
5) ensures cooperation with the Group of States against Corruption (GRECO) and provides its expert and analytical support;
6) ensures, within the competence of the National Agency, interaction between state authorities and authorized representatives of the OECD on the formation and implementation of anti-corruption policy and the coordination of work on preparation for Ukraine's accession to the OECD;
7) organizes cooperation with international organizations, foreign states, development partners, international networks and initiatives, representatives of their bodies, as well as with diplomatic missions, consular institutions, and non-governmental organizations of other states on issues of the National Agency's activity and development with the aim of establishing effective international relations;
8) attracts and participates in the attraction of international technical assistance, as well as the coordination and monitoring of the implementation of projects (programs) providing such assistance to the National Agency.
