Main functions of the
Directorate for Planning and Financial Activities, Accounting and Reporting:
1) organization of the budget process, coordination of work on mid-term budget planning and the use of funds under the National Agency's budget programs;
2) verification of the substantiation of budget declaration indicators and budget requests, effective, result-oriented, and targeted use of budget funds;
3) ensuring the execution of expenditures for the maintenance of the National Agency in accordance with the estimate and the monthly appropriation plan of the general fund of the budget;
4) ensuring the organization and maintenance of accounting in accordance with the national provisions (standards) of accounting in the state sector, as well as other normative legal acts on accounting, including using a unified automated system of accounting and reporting;
5) ensuring the timely calculation and payment of salaries, as well as the transfer of taxes and duties to the relevant budgets;
6) compilation on the basis of accounting data and timely submission of financial and budget reporting, as well as state statistical, consolidated, and other reporting in the manner established by law;
7) development, provision, and control over measures to comply with and improve the level of financial and budget discipline of its employees;
8) implementation of a unified economic policy, submission of proposals for its formation and improvement of the efficiency of the National Agency's financial activities.
