Main functions of the
Directorate for the Formation of Integrity Policy in the Sphere of Security and Defense:
1) ensuring the formation, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of the implementation of anti-corruption policy regarding integrity in the sphere of security and defense;
2) conducting research for the purpose of identifying, analyzing, and assessing corruption risks in the sphere of security and defense;
3) conducting monitoring and anti-corruption expert review of draft regulatory legal acts submitted for consideration to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine or the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine;
4) based on the results of the anti-corruption expert review, preparing conclusions to the draft regulatory legal acts and submitting them to the relevant head committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine whose subject matter includes anti-corruption issues, or to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the drafter;
5) facilitating the implementation of international standards on integrity in the sphere of security and defense;
6) participation in Ukraine's implementation of international obligations, particularly in the sphere of Euro-Atlantic integration.
