Main functions of the
Directorate of Integrity Policy Making in the Security and Defence Sector:
1) ensuring the development and implementation of anti-corruption policy on integrity in the security and defence sector;
2) collecting, processing, analysing, and summarising information (data) for the purpose of identifying corruption risks in the security and defence sector, including in the activities of public authorities, enterprises, institutions, and organisations, as well as facilitating the development of measures to eliminate (mitigate) such risks;
3) conducting monitoring and anti-corruption expertise of draft legal acts submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine or the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine;
4) preparing conclusions based on the results of the anti-corruption expertise of draft legal acts and submitting them to the lead committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada committee responsible for anti-corruption matters, or to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the respective drafter.
5) monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the development and implementation of anti-corruption policy on integrity in the security and defence sector;
6) participating in the establishment of international cooperation within the powers of the Department, as well as participating in international events;
7) ensuring the implementation of international recommendations, including NATO recommendations, aimed at promoting integrity in the security and defence sector.
