The National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) and the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine have signed a Memorandum of Interaction and Cooperation. The document was signed by the Head of the NACP, Viktor Pavlushchyk and the Head of the Accounting Chamber, Olha Pishchanska.
The Memorandum provides for strengthening coordination between the institutions and exchanging information for prompt and objective analysis of data that may indicate violations of anti-corruption legislation. This includes the analysis of corruption risks carried out by the NACP, as well as the planning and implementation of control measures by the Accounting Chamber.
“Joining the efforts of our institutions will allow us to prevent corruption more effectively, as we are combining the expertise of the National Agency in identifying risks with the financial oversight tools of the Accounting Chamber,” said Viktor Pavlushchyk, Head of NACP.
Within the framework of the Memorandum, the NACP and the Accounting Chamber will share information obtained in the course of fulfilling their mandates. The parties also agreed to coordinate additional areas of cooperation within their respective competencies.
