The National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) is launching a new phase of the Data Warehouse/Data Mining (DWH/DM) project, which will be implemented with the financial support of our international partners, the Promoting Integrity in the Public Sector (Pro-integrity) program.
This system will ensure effective data management and significantly improve the Agency's analytical capabilities.
The implementation of this project will allow the NACP to automate the processes of obtaining, systematizing, storing and analyzing information to prevent corruption offenses and identify patterns.
DWH/DM, in particular, will enable the use of data mining algorithms to: identify cases in which corruption-related offenses are most likely to occur (risk assessment); automatically identify problematic provisions in the texts of regulations during anti-corruption expertise, etc.
On February 22, the NACP already held an open meeting with experts and IT companies with experience in building a data warehouse. Following this meeting, key challenges were taken into account and cooperation with international partners was established.
Currently, Pro-integrity is developing technical requirements for the system, taking into account the relevant standards.
We are grateful to our international partners for their support in implementing this ambitious project. This initiative is an important step towards establishing an effective data management system at the NACP.
