10 years of NACP: symbols approved, commemorative medal and postage stamps issued

20.03.2025

Symbols are an important element of a government agency's identity, reflecting its mission, role and values.

The NACP's communications team developed symbols for the Agency's tenth anniversary - an emblem and a flag. It was approved by Presidential Decree No. 171/2025 of 17 March 2025.

The emblem concept is based on the image of the pupil of the eye, which embodies the NACP's ability to see all corruption risks, monitor the lifestyle of officials, and identify inconsistencies in their declarations. This symbolism emphasises the accuracy, independence, transparency and integrity of the National Agency's work.

From the border to the centre of the circle, 20 white rays are directed to symbolise the areas of the NACP's activities - anti-corruption policy development, control over declarations, monitoring of ethical behaviour of public officials, cooperation with whistleblowers, control over political party financing, etc.

The NACP flag is a rectangular cloth of dark blue colour with a width to length ratio of 2:3. In the upper quarter of the pole is an image of two equal horizontal stripes of blue and yellow, in the centre of the free part of the cloth is an image of the NACP emblem.

Commemorative medal of the National Bank of Ukraine ‘National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption’

The medal is a joint project of the NACP designers Iryna Rossokhach (reverse) and Oleksandra Kuchynska (obverse).

The reverse of the medal depicts the NACP emblem, and the obverse of the medal features a stylised tree in the centre of the composition, consisting of microcircuit elements. These image details represent the data for analysis and administration of the NACP through portals and registers, as well as development, growth, digitalisation, modern technologies and innovation.

Around the central composition are stars, which emphasise the era of Ukraine's active integration with the EU and the NACP's role in bringing legislation closer to international standards. The stylised indicator ‘from darkness to light’ symbolises the dynamics of reducing the level of corruption in the country and society.

The medal reflects the Agency's role and highlights its achievements over 10 years of work.

Postage stamp series ‘The Past Teaches Us How to Build the Future’

Issued at the NACP's initiative in cooperation with the national postal operator Ukrposhta.

The stamps depict 9 artefacts of corruption crimes presented in the form of museum exhibits as a reminder that corruption should remain in the past, and its manifestations should be a lesson for each of us to learn in order to prevent corruption in the future. The description of each stamp is here.

During the celebrations on the occasion of the NACP's tenth anniversary, a special postage stamp redemption took place on 18 March 2025 with the participation of Ukrposhta CEO Ihor Smelyansky.

The stamps were designed by NACP designer Iryna Rossokhach.
