Prosecutors of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) have filed a lawsuit with the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) to declare the assets worth almost UAH 2.6 million of the Verkhnekoropetsky village head of Zakarpattia region as unjustified. According to the court's decision, the assets may be recovered as state revenue.
The assets in question are a 242-square-meter house and a 611-square-meter land plot in Mukachevo acquired by his wife in early 2022.
Based on the results of a full verification of the declaration, NACP found that it was impossible to acquire the property at the expense of income received from confirmed sources.
