The State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) has announced that, based on the results of a full audit of the declaration conducted by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) it has notified the former head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Medical and Social Expert Commission of its suspicion of declaring false information worth over UAH 3 million.
In particular, based on the results of a full audit of the 2023 declaration, NACP established that the declarant concealed three apartments belonging to her husband, one of which is located in an elite residential complex, his car and income, as well as funds deposited in bank accounts.
The investigation established that the total amount of undeclared property and funds exceeds UAH 3.2 million.
The former official is charged with deliberately entering knowingly false information in her declaration (Part 1 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to two years, as well as deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years.
Disclaimer. In accordance with Part 1 of Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in accordance with the law and established by a court verdict.
As a reminder, during 2024-2025, NACP completed 11 full audits of MSEC officials. Inaccurate information amounting to UAH 58.2 million and illegal enrichment amounting to UAH 16.4 million were identified.
