The Main Department of the National Police of Ukraine (NPU) in Poltava region, with operational support from the Strategic Investigations Department of the NPU, served a notice of suspicion to the Head of the Department of the Main Department of the State Treasury Service of Ukraine in Poltava region of committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (declaring false information). The National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) monitored the lifestyle and sent relevant materials to the NPU.
NACP found that the official had submitted inaccurate information in the declaration for 2023 for more than UAH 95.7 million.
Warning. In accordance with part one of Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and shall not be subjected to criminal punishment until his or her guilt is proved in accordance with the law and established by a court verdict of guilty.
