Hiding their presence in the temporarily occupied Crimea and cooperating with the Military Industry of Russia: Camozzi Group is included in the list of international sponsors of war
Camozzi Group has been included in the list of international sponsors of the war. This decision was made by the NACP because the company continues to do business in the Russian Federation and collaborates with the Russian military-industrial complex and  still has its factory on the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea. Camozzi Group is an international Italian concern for the production of pneumatic equipment and pneumatic equipment, pneumatic systems and pneumatic automation. The company is one of the world leaders in this field. It is represented in 78 countries of the world, in particular in Russia. The Camozzi factories did not cease operations after the Russian Federation launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Pneumatic equipment is an essential part of many industrial and manufacturing sectors as it aids in the automation of work processes. Camozzi's clients in the Russian Federation are precisely the plants of the aggressor's military-industrial complex, whose products are actively used in the war against Ukraine:
  • Izhorskiye Zavody JSC
  • Kolomensky Zavod JSC
  • Power Machines JSC
  • Uralvagonzavod JSC NPK
  • Holding PetrozavodskMash
Furthermore, Camozzi Group has been cooperating with the sanctioned entities Tikhvinskiy Vagonostroitel'nyy Zavod and Chelyabinskiy Tsinkovyy JSC. These entities are controlled by sanctioned Russian oligarchs Iskandar Mahmudov and Andrey Bokarev. It is known that despite the Russian occupation, 'Mekhanosborochnyy Zavod Camozzi Pnevmatika' in Simferopol continues to operate. On the website of the Russian company “VPK Konkordiya”, it is stated: ”VPK is an official Camozzi dealer. Our Camozzi representative office in Simferopol is the place where you can buy Camozzi equipment at the best price in Simferopol!” However, Camozzi does not mention its work in Crimea on its official website, likely because the possibility of international pressure. In Russia, Camozzi operates through the “Camozzi Pnevmatika” LLC, with 32 branches, 500 employees, and 80,000 client companies. Besides contributing taxes to the budget of the state-aggressor, the company also provides jobs to Russians, thus supporting both the Russian economy and improving the employment rate of the population. Camozzi Group is also present in Ukraine. Notably, among the founders of the legal entity representing Camozzi in Ukraine, there is a Russian citizen, Alexey Kistyachenko, who currently heads the Russian representation of Camozzi. We would like to remind you that the NACP is the body responsible for the compliance system in the private sector. During compliance procedures, counterparties are subject to integrity checks, including socially responsible business conduct in accordance with OECD standards. The list of “International War Sponsors” on the “War and Sanctions” portal is a powerful reputational tool for achieving the integrity of supply chains in the international dimension, the exit of international business from Russia, thus reducing the financial and technological ability of the terrorist country to kill Ukrainians. One of the “leverages” of the platform is cooperation with the World-Check database, which is used by banks and insurance companies for risk assessment. That is why for global companies, the consequences of being on the list become worse than continuing to do business with the aggressor country.
