NACP transfers information from the register "International Sponsors of War" to the IWG on sanctions, other sections need to be normalized: NACP position

22.03.2024

The National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) is transferring to the Interdepartmental Working Group on Implementation of the State Sanctions Policy (IWG) the information contained in the section "International Sponsors of War" of the War and Sanctions portal, and the Agency will prepare documents that served as the basis for the information to be transferred.

In addition, the Agency has already redirected users from the International Sponsors of War page to the State Sanctions Registry to provide accurate and unified information about the official list of entities subject to sanctions in Ukraine.

The NACP informed the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine that, in addition to the section "International Sponsors of War," the following sections are part of the War and Sanctions portal: "Components in Weapons", "Tools of War", "Candidates for Sanctions", "War and Art", "War and Sports", "Foreigners in Russian Companies", as well as lists of individuals and legal entities subject to sanctions, in particular by partner countries.

The maintenance of the above registers also requires the regulation and identification of state bodies responsible for their functioning. Therefore, until this issue is resolved, access to these sections will be temporarily closed. The National Agency will take measures to transfer the information contained in other parts of the War and Sanctions portal to ensure an effective sanctions policy.

Such decisions were made by the NACP taking into account the extract from the minutes of the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on 15.03.2024 Nº 30.
