Oleksandr Novikov, Head of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP), presented digital integrity tools developed by the Agency to the delegations of the United States and Mexico. This took place within the framework of the 10th session of the Conference of the States Parties to the UN Convention against Corruption. The U.S. delegation was led by April Snedeker, Anti-Corruption Program Advisor at the U.S. Department of State, and Mexico was represented by Rafael Ruiz, Head of the Anti-Corruption Unit.
The Head of the NACP told the international partners about the Register of Electronic Declarations, the Politdata Political Party Reporting Register, the Whistleblower Corruption Reporting Portal, and the Unified State Register of Persons who Committed Acts of Corruption or Corruption-related Offenses
"Ukraine is one of the world's leaders in developing anti-corruption IT solutions as envisaged by the UN Convention against Corruption. Many of our products have no analogues in the world. In addition, within the Agency, we have minimized bureaucracy and make communication between employees as efficient and comfortable as possible through technology. We are ready to share our experience and disseminate it around the world," said Oleksandr Novikov.
For their part, representatives of the United States and Mexico expressed interest in the NACP's digital initiatives. Thus, the Mexican side plans to strengthen cooperation with the NACP to implement certain digital products for preventing corruption in their country, following the example of Ukraine.
The NACP Head also spoke about the Agency's management model, which works according to the methodology of setting and implementing a system of object and key results (OKR). In particular, he presented to foreign colleagues the NACP's Guide to Building an Integrity (Effective) Organization, which is based on both the experience of the NACP and institutions in other countries.
