The National Police of Ukraine (NPU) and the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) have been connected to the Unified Whistleblower Reporting Portal (hereinafter referred to as the Portal). Earlier, the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) and the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) gained access to the Portal. From now on, employees of these agencies will be able to report corruption cases they have detected to a special resource.
The NACP welcomes the initiative of law enforcement agencies that have promptly joined the reporting channel and encourages other specially authorized entities in the field of corruption prevention to do the same. The NACP provides advisory and practical assistance on the operation of the Portal.
Ministries, central executive authorities with special status, and regional state (military) administrations will be connected within 60 days of the Portal's launch. The Verkhovna Rada, the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Office of the President, the NSDC, the CEC, the Accounting Chamber, the CCU, state-owned companies, etc. will be connected within 90 working days from the day of the Portal launch. Next in the queue are regional, city, village, and town councils.
As a reminder, on September 6, 2023, the NACP launched the Unified Whistleblower Reporting Portal, where citizens can report corruption they have witnessed. The special resource allows employees of organizations to send anonymous reports about corruption in their structures; the information of whistleblowers is promptly sent to its managers or authorized units (persons) for the prevention and detection of corruption, as well as to a specially authorized entity in the field of combating corruption.
