The Specialised Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) has filed a lawsuit with the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) to recognise as unjustified the assets used by the family of the former head of the Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in the Odesa region.
Based on materials from the State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) and in cooperation with the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP), evidence has been found that the former official acquired unjustified assets. These are a 2018 Toyota Land Cruiser 200 and a 2020 Audi RSQ8, purchased for UAH 300,000 and UAH 1.4 million, while the market value of the vehicles is significantly higher – over UAH 5.3 million.
The assets may be seized in favour of the state in accordance with Article 290 of the Civil Code of Ukraine.
At present, at the request of the prosecutor, the court has imposed an arrest on the specified movable property.
