The NACP has identified 12 000+ individuals and 3 000+ legal entities for the imposition of sanctions to further seize their assets in favor of Ukraine
The National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) has identified individuals and legal entities involved in the aggression against Ukraine to impose sanctions on them in Ukraine. The list includes data on more than 12 000 individuals and 3 000 legal entities. The draft decision was submitted to the Security Service of Ukraine for referral to the National Security and Defense Council. Thanks to the new law on improving the effectiveness of sanctions, which came into force today, on May 25, if sanctions are imposed, the assets of these people in Ukraine will be confiscated to finance the Armed Forces during the war and to rebuild our country after Ukraine's victory.
"Since the beginning of the war, the NACP has been assisting our diplomats in identifying those subject to international sanctions. Unfortunately, our international counterparts have so far been slow to impose sanctions on Putin's allies, limiting themselves to a thousand in each of the jurisdictions.  The introduction of a large-scale sanctions package in Ukraine will be a powerful impetus to expand sanctions against those who are now helping the Russian leadership to kill Ukrainians", said Head of the NACP Oleksandr Novikov.
Among those proposed for sanctions in Ukraine are Western nationals: former Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany and, until recently, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Rosneft Gerhard Schroeder, a British journalist and former employee of Russia's state-run RT and  "Star" Graham Phillips and video journalist, former US Navy sailor Patrick Lancaster.  They all promote narratives consistent with Russian war propaganda. You can check  the full list of candidates for international sanctions, as well as to report on their assets on our “War & Sanctions” web portal: https://sanctions.nazk.gov.ua/en
