Following a full audit of the 2023 declaration, the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) found that the head of the villages of Khotianivka and Oseshchyna in the Vyshhorod City Council had provided inaccurate information worth over UAH 4.2 million.

In particular, the declarant ‘forgot’ to indicate in the declaration:

  • a land plot owned by his wife, with an area of 1,226 m², market value of almost UAH 1.6 million, located in the village of Oseshchyna, which is the territory served by the official, consent to the purchase of which was given by the declarant, the sale was made at almost half the market price;
  • an apartment with an area of 35.7 m² in the city of Vyshgorod worth over 186,000 UAH, which also belongs to his wife, and for which the declarant gave his consent to purchase;
  • a Tesla Model X car worth over UAH 2.5 million, which was registered to the declarant's mother but was actually used by him, as confirmed during a full check.

The National Police of Ukraine, including on the basis of the materials of a full verification of the declaration, conducted a pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings under Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (declaration of false information) against the declarant and sent the indictment for consideration to the Vyshhorod District Court of Kyiv Region.

Disclaimer. In accordance with Part 1 of Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person shall be presumed innocent of a crime and shall not be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt has been proven in accordance with the law and established by a court verdict.
