The issue of treating citizens, the quality and availability of medicines and biological preparations must be free from corruption. That is why the experts of the NACP of Medical Sciences, together with specialists of specialized public organizations, conducted a comprehensive study "Corruption risks in the procedure of evaluation of medical technologies" and singled out a number of corruption risks, in particular:
- influence on the HTA procedure of authorized bodies in the field of health care;
- lack of an algorithm for conducting HTA examinations and the responsibility of experts;
- lack of transparency of the shortened HTA procedure at the initiative of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine;
- non-appealability of HTA results, etc.
