Based on materials provided by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) and the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI), an indictment has been referred to court against the former Head of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service (SES) in Vinnytsia Region.
The NACP established that between 2020 and 2025, the official acquired assets worth more than UAH 14.5 million, registering them in the names of close relatives and family members while in fact using and exercising control over the property himself.
In addition, the pre-trial investigation found that the official abused his official position for personal gain. In particular, he unlawfully instructed subordinates to carry out construction and repair work both at state-owned facilities and at his private properties in Vinnytsia and Kharkiv regions. Special equipment belonging to the Main Department of the SES was also systematically used for these purposes.
To secure the possible confiscation of property, the court imposed an asset freeze on the former official's assets with a total value exceeding UAH 22 million.
Procedural supervision of the criminal proceedings is being carried out by the Office of the Prosecutor General.
