NACP connects the first thousand organizations to the Whistleblower Reporting Portal

28.05.2024

More than a thousand organizations of various levels have provided whistleblowers with the opportunity to report possible facts of corruption or corruption-related offenses and other violations of the Law of Ukraine “On Prevention of Corruption” through a special portal.

Thus, Order of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention No. 93/24 dated 11.04.2024 (hereinafter - Order No. 93/24) amended the Procedure for Maintaining the Unified Whistleblower Reporting Portal (hereinafter - the Procedure), and approved a new order of priority for connecting to it. The first thousand organizations that have gained access to the Portal show that the amendments to the Procedure have become an effective tool for simplifying and speeding up the connection procedure.

The Portal guarantees whistleblowers confidentiality and anonymity, and provides whistleblowers with access to information on the status and results of their reports. It is the official internal source of information on persons with whistleblower status.

In turn, the National Agency provides round-the-clock access to the Portal for users and is responsible for protecting information and the whistleblowers themselves.

Currently, organizations are being connected to the Portal, taking into account the new order of priority approved by the National Agency's Order No. 110/24 dated 03.05.2024

It is important to note that territorial bodies/divisions of ministries, other central executive authorities, state bodies, as well as enterprises, institutions, organizations that are under the management of the organizations specified in subpara. 2, clause 4, section VI of the Procedure, in order to connect to the Portal, must send the relevant documents to their “central organizations” that analyze and record the information received. After that, they should send the National Agency a list of organizations to be connected to the Portal (in the form according to Annex 2 to the Procedure in one of the machine-readable formats (csv, xls, xlsx, json)).

At the same time, please note that documents sent to the NACP after 03.05.2024 in violation of the Procedure, in particular in terms of non-compliance with the order of submission, the form of filling out or the format of the document, will be returned to the organizations without consideration.
