119 political parties have not yet submitted any reports for 2020 – NACP
As of December 1, 2020, the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) received 511 reports from political parties for 2020:
  • for Q І — 242 reports;
  • for Q ІІ — 187 reports;
  • for Q ІІІ — 82 reports.
Only 242 parties submitted reports for this year. In total, according to the Ministry of Justice, 361 political parties are registered in Ukraine, 12 of which were established this year. In 2019, 275 parties submitted their reports. Thus, 72 parties did not report on their activities even for 2019. It should be noted that the deadline for submission of reports this year, even for Q I is not yet over. Thus, in March, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the Law of Ukraine No. 540 – IV. It states that political parties should submit reports for 2020 no later than 40 days after the end of implementation of measures aimed to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Therefore, currently, the last day to submit reports for all quarters of the year is February 9, 2021. The NACP has already checked 406 reports of political parties submitted for this year, which is almost 80% of the total number of submitted reports. The NACP urges the parties not to wait for the deadline for report submission in order to avoid organizational problems with their submission for the whole year. We would also like to remind that the Register of political party reports, POLITDATA, is currently functioning in a test mode and is available at: https://politdata.nazk.gov.ua/. The instructions for using the Register are available on the NACP’s YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/MkE89FNZqAs.
