The Integrity Office of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) is launching an educational program to build an environment of integrity for schoolchildren, students, and educators.
The NACP Integrity Office team has been implementing the Transparent School project for three years. During this time, we have managed to open 15 Integrity Hubs based on various schools, uniting 560 educational institutions from 21 regions of Ukraine into project communities. Schools that have joined the project help others create an atmosphere of openness and share their experience in building and teaching integrity.
More than 170 thousand students in grades 1-11 have participated in various activities. The Office's experts have developed educational and methodological materials for students, teachers, and school administrators. In addition, they conducted more than 300 trainings, webinars, workshops, lectures, etc. Thus, more than 17 thousand educators have received tools to integrate integrity and anti-corruption into the educational process.

The NACP Integrity Office also organizes many educational activities for students of higher education institutions. This year, the discipline “Anti-Corruption and Integrity” will be taught in 64 higher education institutions and one college. Teachers have already undergone special training and received certificates. The discipline was developed to implement the State Anti-Corruption Program for 2023-2025.
Last academic year, the NACP's Integrity Office piloted the course in 10 universities. More than 800 students from all over Ukraine took the course. They were surveyed before and after the course. 87% of the students found the course useful, and all universities expressed a desire to continue teaching the subject.
No doubt building a virtuous society begins with education. This course will help students become responsible citizens and actively fight corruption, which is key to creating a fair and transparent society.
Higher education institutions can apply for the opportunity to teach the course starting the next semester by following the link.
