Control over completeness of declaration: Court finds Vinnytsia Region Deputy guilty of false reporting in declarations

11.03.2026

A court has found a deputy of the Mohyliv-Podilskyi District Council (Vinnytsia region) guilty of committing administrative offences under Part 4 of Article 172-6 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offences (submitting knowingly false information in the declaration of a person authorised to perform state or local government functions).

The court reviewed two protocols filed by the Strategic Investigations Department (SID) of the National Police in the Vinnytsia region. These protocols were based on the results of a completeness check conducted by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP).

The deputy included false information exceeding UAH 1 million in each of his declarations for 2023 and 2024. For these offences, the court imposed an administrative penalty in the form of a UAH 17 thousand fine.

Furthermore, following the NACP’s substantiated findings on the completeness of declarations, SID officers filed administrative offence protocols against:

  • A deputy of the Kobeliaky City Council (Poltava region) regarding the inclusion of false information exceeding UAH 2.1 million in the 2024 declaration.

  • A deputy of the Zhovtantsi Village Council (Lviv district, Lviv region) regarding the inclusion of false information exceeding UAH 478 thousand in each of the declarations for 2023 and 2024.

The relevant materials have been forwarded to local courts for consideration.
