The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO), based on materials provided by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) and evidence collected independently, filed a lawsuit with the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) seeking to declare unjustified and confiscate to the state assets worth over UAH 7.8 million belonging to the head of a unit of one of Kyiv’s district state administrations and her mother.
Between 2020 and 2025, the official received and disposed of UAH 3.185 million held in her personal bank account, which, according to the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On Prevention of Corruption,” cannot be considered as acquired from legitimate income.
During this period, the official’s mother also became the owner of an apartment worth UAH 4.65 million in a business-class residential complex located near the center of Kyiv.
An analysis of the family’s official income and expenses showed that they did not have sufficient lawful earnings to purchase such an apartment.
SAPO is asking the court to confiscate these assets to the state in civil forfeiture proceedings. The HACC has already seized the disputed property and other assets of the official.
