Lifestyle monitoring: UAH 7 million may be recovered to the state budget from the former head of the capital's district administration

11.09.2025

The prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) has, based on materials from the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) and evidence obtained jointly with the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), filed a claim with the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) seeking to recognize as unjustified assets worth over UAH 7 million belonging to the family of the former head of the Darnytsia District State Administration of Kyiv. The assets in question include:

  • Two apartments with a total area of almost 170 sq. m in a residential complex in the capital;
  • Two non-residential premises with a total area of 220 sq. m in one of the city’s districts;
  • A 2007 Bayliner 245 SB cruise boat.

The total value of the assets is almost UAH 7.2 million. During lifestyle monitoring, NACP found that the official’s wife and mother acquired these assets during 2020–2021. At the same time, the declarant had the right to dispose of this movable and immovable property.

Authorized persons of the National Agency analyzed the income and expenditures of the official and his family and concluded that it was impossible to acquire the assets with lawful funds.

The assets may be recovered in favor of the state by a decision of the HACC in accordance with Article 290 of the Civil Procedure Code of Ukraine.
