The Main Investigation Department of the National Police of Ukraine (NPU), under the procedural guidance of the Office of the Prosecutor General and based in part on materials from a full audit of declaration conducted by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP), has reported suspicion against the former head of the legal department of a state defense enterprise for over UAH 17.42 million. The official temporarily served as the acting director of this state enterprise.
As a result of the full audit of the 2022 declaration, NACP established that the official concealed, in particular:
- An apartment in Kyiv worth over UAH 7 million, registered to his mother-in-law, which was used by his wife;
- The actual monetary value of his share in the charter capital of a company, which differs from the declared value by nearly UAH 11 million;
- His income in the form of a gift - the value of a 2020 Ferrari Roma - exceeding UAH 6.4 million;
- An expense for paying the pension contribution of over UAH 300,000 for registering the car in Ukraine.
During the full audit of declaration, it was established that the Ferrari Roma was acquired by the official of the defense enterprise during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation from a citizen of the aggressor country, who made the payment of UAH 6.4 million for the purchase of the vehicle.
The official is charged with committing a criminal offense under Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (declaration of false information).
