The National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) has revealed signs of unjustified assets worth more than UAH 4.4 million while carrying out the monitoring of the lifestyle of the head of the Sambir District Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCR) in the Lviv region.
It was established that the declarant and his wife acquired a number of real estate objects in 2020-2022.
The military commissar explained that the real estate was acquired at the expense of the family's savings for the previous period, the salaries of family members, and a gift from his mother in the amount of USD 42 thousand.
However, during the analysis of the declarant's income and family expenses in recent years, the NACP found that the head of the Sambir District TCR was not able to purchase the property legally. The difference between the value of the property and the family's official income is over UAH 4.4 million.
The lifestyle monitoring materials on the military commissar were transferred to the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) to decide whether to file a lawsuit to recognize the assets as unjustified and recover them as state revenue.
As a reminder, in late August, the NACP found signs of a corruption criminal offense based on the results of monitoring the lifestyle of the deputy chief of the Odesa military commissariat, which indicate the illicit enrichment of over UAH 14 million.
