Based on materials from lifestyle monitoring conducted by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) and evidence gathered independently, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecution Office (SAPO) filed a lawsuit with the High Anti-Corruption Court to recognize assets registered in the name of the mother of the former head of the Department for Combating Drug Crime of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kyiv as unjustified.
The assets in question are a 2018 Dodge Durango SUV and a 0.12-hectare land plot in a gardening association in the suburbs of Kyiv. The property, with a total value of nearly UAH 4 million, was registered in the former official's mother's name in 2022–2023.
An analysis of the income and expenses of the former police officer and his close persons demonstrated that they lacked sufficient legal income to acquire these assets. In addition, the former official's mother resides in the temporarily occupied territory, while the acquired vehicle and land plot were used by him and his wife.
In light of the established circumstances, the SAPO requests the court to recognize these assets as unjustified and forfeit them to the state revenue.
