The National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) registered 97 individuals with the Unified State Register of Persons that Committed Corruption or Corruption-Related Offenses (Register of Corrupt Officials), under Article 366–1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, for intentional failure to submit or submission of knowingly inaccurate information in the declaration, since the Register was established.
The Register contains the data on:
- 42 deputies of local councils;
- 15 officials of the State Penitentiary Service of Ukraine;
- 11 officials of state and municipal enterprises;
- 8 civil servants (including employees of the State Fiscal Service, the Pension Fund of Ukraine, the State GeoCadastre, Rayon State Administrations, state enforcement officers);
- 6 officials of the National Police of Ukraine;
- 6 officials of the State Emergency Service;
- 3 judges;
- 3 local government officials;
- 2 foresters;
- 1 MP of Ukraine.
- 64 cases – community service for a period of 150-240 hours with deprivation of the right to hold positions related to performance of functions of the state or local government for 1-2 years. Such punishment was most often applied to local council deputies;
- 17 cases – imprisonment for one year to one year and six months with deprivation of the right to hold positions related to the performance of functions of the state and local government for 1-2 years.
- 16 cases – a fine in the amount of 2,500 to 3,000 tax-free minimum incomes (i.e. from ~ UAH 42,500 to ~ UAH 51,000) with deprivation of the right to hold positions related to the performance of functions of the state and local government for 1-2 years. Such punishment was most often applied to civil servants and judges.
Since 2019, 97 individuals have been held liable for intentionally failing to submit a declaration or declaring inaccurate information. 17 were sentenced to imprisonment
