The High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine (HACC) granted the claim of the prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) to recognise the assets of the former head of the Kremenchuk District Territorial Centre of Recruitment and Social Support (TCR and SS) as unjustified.
The claim was submitted based on materials from the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) and the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU).
During lifestyle monitoring, the NACP established that in 2022–2024, the official acquired, through third parties, an apartment in Kremenchuk and two luxury SUVs, one of which was later alienated. After analysing the income, expenditures, and property status of the former TRC head, his family members, and close associates, the Agency concluded that the assets could not have been acquired from lawful income.
The court ordered the seizure in favour of the state of unjustified assets worth nearly UAH 3 million, namely:
- an apartment in a residential complex
- a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado
- The value of a Toyota RAV4 and the income received from its alienation
The decision has not yet entered into legal force and may be appealed within 30 days from the date of preparation of the full text.
As a reminder, recently, the HACC also recognised an expensive SUV owned by a deputy from the Chernihiv region as an unjustified asset.
