UAH 12 million of illegal assets: former official of the Logistics Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine suspected of corruption based on NACP materials

09.06.2025

Based on National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) materials, State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) officials have notified the former head of the Central Fuel and Lubricants Supply Department of the Logistics Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that he is under suspicion. He is charged with illegal enrichment of over UAH 12 million, as well as illegal possession of weapons and ammunition.

Based on the results of monitoring the official's lifestyle, NACP found that in 2023-2024, he purchased 14 land plots in the Kyiv region, an apartment, Toyota Tundra, Škoda Octavia and Hyundai Tucson cars, and domestic government bonds issued by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine. These assets were registered both in his name and in the names of his relatives.

NACP analysed the income and expenses of the former military officer and his relatives and found that the suspect and his family had no legal sources for such purchases.

In addition, during a search of the man's home, SBI officials found firearms and ammunition that he had stored without the proper permit.

The suspect's actions are classified under Article 368-5 (illegal enrichment) and Part 1 of Article 263 (illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosive substances) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Disclaimer: In accordance with Part 1 of Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person shall be presumed innocent of a crime and shall not be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt has been proven in accordance with the law and established by a court verdict.
