The State Bureau of Investigations, based in part on the results of a full audit of the 2022 declaration conducted by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP), reported suspicions of false declarations amounting to over 7.1 million hryvnia by an official of the Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in the Cherkasy region.
In particular, the full audit of the declaration revealed that the official ‘forgot’ to declare three cars belonging to her husband:
- TOYOTA LAND CRUISER 200, 2016 model year;
- TOYOTA LAND CRUISER 200, 2019 model year;
- BMW X5, 2021 model year.
The official is charged with knowingly providing false information in her declaration (Part 2 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
