Parts from shells of the Russian Tornado-S MLRS and Iranian Mohajer-6 UAV: NACP continues to expand its database of foreign components in weapons

29.12.2023

The National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) has added new details about Russian and Iranian weapons to the world's only open database of foreign components in weapons. The list has been expanded by almost 150 components and includes 5 new elements from the missiles (9M544) of the Russian Tornado-S MLRS and 137 components from the Iranian Mohajer-6 UAV. In total, the base already has more than 2,750 components.

Russians regularly shell residential areas of cities in the frontline regions of Ukraine, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, and Donetsk with Tornado MLRS. Iranian Mohajer-6 UAVs are widely used by the aggressor to reconnoiter and adjust strikes against our military at the front and critical infrastructure in peaceful cities.

The NACP receives a lot of feedback from the Ukrainian military and international partners regarding the usefulness of the Database as a tool for demilitarizing the Russian Federation. We recommend subscribing to our Database updates by following the link in order to receive information about newly added components as quickly as possible.

The Agency will always express its boundless respect and gratitude to the Ukrainian military who seized these weapons, as well as to the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise and other research centers for researching and identifying the components.

It is worth reminding that the role of the NACP in sanctions policy is defined in the Roadmap for Individual Sanctions developed by the Stanford International Working Group on Russian Sanctions. In particular, the NACP identifies companies that supply electronic components to Russia.
