The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) upheld the HACC decision dated November 21, 2025, regarding the recognition of assets used by the family of the former head of the Main Department of the State Tax Service in the Odesa region as unjustified.
The assets in question are the following vehicles:
- Toyota Land Cruiser 200, manufactured in 2018, purchased for UAH 300,000;
- Audi RSQ8, manufactured in 2020, purchased for UAH 1.4 million.
Based on the results of lifestyle monitoring conducted by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP), it was established that the market value of the vehicles significantly exceeds the specified amounts and totals over UAH 5.3 million.
Subsequently, the family of the former official sold one vehicle (Audi) at market value and used the proceeds to purchase a BMW X7 xDrive.
An analysis of the family's legal income and savings indicates that the former official and his close relatives could not have acquired the mentioned assets using legal income.
The lawsuit was filed based on materials from the State Bureau of Investigation and the NACP, as well as evidence independently obtained by a prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO).
The decision of the HACC Appeals Chamber enters into force from the moment of its announcement.
