By a sentence of the Pervomaisk City District Court of Mykolaiv Oblast, which has entered into force, the head of the Pervomaisk Interdistrict MSEC (Medical and Social Expertise Commission) of Mykolaiv Oblast was found guilty of committing a criminal offence under Part 1 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (declaring false information).
The court sentenced her to a fine of UAH 68,000, along with the deprivation of the right to hold positions related to the performance of organisational, administrative, and economic functions in healthcare institutions and expert teams for assessing a person's daily functioning, for a term of three years.
The basis for the conviction, in particular, was the materials of a full verification of the 2023 declaration conducted by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention. During the verification, it was established that the official had declared false information worth over UAH 2.7 million.
The official concealed from the declaration the assets and income of her husband, of which she was aware, including:
- a residential building with an area of 83.6 sq. m where she lived with her family, and the land plot under this building, as well as an apartment with an area of 57.7 sq. m in Pervomaisk, Mykolaiv Oblast; the total value of the real estate is over UAH 1.5 million;
- Hyundai and ZAZ cars and a TARZ trailer with a total value of over UAH 230,000;
- income for over UAH 980,000.
The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings was conducted by the Pervomaisk District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Mykolaiv Oblast, under the procedural guidance of the Pervomaisk District Prosecutor's Office.
