Based on materials from a lifestyle monitoring conducted by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) and data provided by the State Bureau of Investigation, the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) partially granted the lawsuit filed by the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) to declare unjustified the assets of the head of one of the regional main departments of the State Tax Service.
The court recognised an apartment in Kyiv valued at UAH 2.24 million, registered in the name of the official’s sister, as an unjustified asset and ordered its forfeiture to the state revenue. The tax official had acquired the specified apartment for her daughter.
As a reminder, during the lifestyle monitoring, the NACP established that between 2020 and 2023, relatives of the tax official (her sister, daughter, and father) acquired assets totalling over UAH 4.5 million, the lawful origin of funds for which could not be confirmed. These assets include:

an apartment in the capital;

a 2022 Toyota C-HR Hybrid;

a 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Velar.
An analysis of the income and expenses of the official and her family confirmed the impossibility of acquiring the apartment through legal sources; therefore, the court recognised this property as an unjustified asset and ruled to forfeit it to the state revenue.
Regarding the vehicles registered in the names of the official's daughter and father, the court dismissed the claim.
The SAPO plans to appeal the decision in this part in accordance with the procedure established by law.
