Based on NAPC materials, unjustified assets worth UAH 7.5 million may be recovered from the former head of the Kharkiv District Prosecutor's Office

18.03.2026

A prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO), based in part on materials from a lifestyle monitoring conducted by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NAPC), has filed a lawsuit with the High Anti-Corruption Court to recognize as unjustified and recover to the state revenue assets worth over UAH 7.5 million acquired by the former head of a district prosecutor's office in Kharkiv.

In particular, these concerns assets acquired by the official's family members during 2022–2024, including:

  • two apartments in Kharkiv;
  • Lexus LX (2016 model year) and Mercedes-Benz GLE 43 AMG (2017 model year) vehicles;
  • accumulated cash assets.

Based on the analysis of the family's income and expenses, it was determined that the value of the assets exceeds the legal income by UAH 7.5 million.

In this regard, the SAPO prosecutor filed a lawsuit with the court to have the assets declared unjustified and to recover them for the state's revenue. To secure the claim, the court also seized the defendant's property within the amount of the claim.

It should be noted that the lawsuit is based on materials from the NAPC, the SBI, and evidence independently collected by the SAPO prosecutor.
