The National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) included the French cosmetics corporation Yves Rocher in the list of international sponsors of the war. The reason was that the company is one of the most famous Western companies that refused to boycott Russia and stop its activities in the Russian Federation after the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The Yves Rocher brand is currently present on 5 continents, in 80 countries of the world and has about 4,000 retail outlets.
To the Russian budget in 2022, the Russian branch of the Yves Rocher Vostok company paid taxes in the amount of about 6 million dollars. the USA, thereby financing the murders of Ukrainians by the hands of the occupiers.
Unfortunately, there were no statements from Yves Rocher about the reduction of its activities in Russia after the beginning of the active phase of aggression and after all the war crimes of the terrorist state.
Therefore, the continuation of the activities of the Russian branch of the Yves Rocher Vostok company means support and sponsorship of terrorism.
We will remind that inclusion in the list of international sponsors of war is a powerful reputational tool.
All companies listed as international war sponsors are listed in the World-Check database, a database of high-risk individuals and organizations used worldwide to identify and manage financial, regulatory and reputational risks.
Adding to this database already helps protect the financial sector from Russian war sponsors, as all global companies see that cooperating with such companies is dangerous and risky.
The role of the NACP in sanctions policy is defined in the Individual Sanctions Roadmap developed by the Stanford International Working Group on Russian Sanctions.
