The Dubrovytsia District Court of Rivne Region, acting in part on materials from a full declaration audit conducted by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP), found a deputy of the Mylyatyn Village Council of Rivne Region guilty of declaring false information (Part 1, Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The court sentenced him to a fine of UAH 51,000, along with a one-year ban on holding positions specified by the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Corruption." The verdict has entered into force.
It was established that in his 2023 declaration, the deputy failed to report his own and his family members' (wife and son) assets worth over UAH 2.4 million, including:

an unfinished residential house with a total area of 135.1 sq. m, along with adjacent outbuildings (a bathhouse and a garage) in Rivne region;

his wife's cars: a BMW X5 (2002 model year), a Mercedes-Benz Vito 115 CDI (2010 model year), and a Land Rover Range Rover (2008 model year);

corporate rights belonging to him and his son in a company;

his own tax debt.
The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings was conducted by the Main Directorate of the National Police in Rivne Region, under the procedural guidance of the Rivne Regional Prosecutor's Office.
