Based on the results of lifestyle monitoring conducted by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP), signs of declaring inaccurate information amounting to almost UAH 3.9 million by a former employee of the state institution "Kyiv Pre-trial Detention Center" were identified. Since a pre-trial investigation is already ongoing regarding these facts within open criminal proceedings, the NACP sent the lifestyle monitoring materials to the Territorial Office of the State Bureau of Investigation located in the city of Kyiv to be added to the files of these criminal proceedings. The official was notified of suspicion.
During the monitoring, the NACP established that in his annual declaration for 2024, the official failed to state information about a land plot and a garden house located on it, which were actually in his use and disposal.
The official explained that neither he nor his family members used or disposed of the specified real estate properties. At the same time, the body of collected evidence indicates that the declarant himself was the actual acquirer of this property.
Specifically, it was established that in July 2024, the purchase of a land plot worth UAH 32 thousand and a garden house worth over UAH 3.8 million was registered in the name of a third party. Despite this, information about the specified real estate properties is absent from the declaration for 2024.
The total amount of inaccurate information is over UAH 3.85 million. According to the legislation, this amount exceeds the threshold for criminal liability and contains signs of a criminal offense under Part 1 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (declaring inaccurate information).
