On 11 August 2026, the reporting period for parliamentary and non-parliamentary political parties for the second quarter of 2026 came to an end.
More than 110 political parties out of the 399 registered in Ukraine, including 71 parties in the process of being terminated, failed to submit reports on their assets, income, expenditure and financial liabilities for this reporting period to the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP).
In the first quarter of 2026, political parties submitted 286 reports within the statutory deadline, marking the highest figure since the reinstatement of mandatory reporting in 2023. For the second quarter of 2026, 287 reports were submitted. Thus, the number of reports submitted remains consistently high.
In accordance with paragraph twenty of Article 17 of the Law of Ukraine ‘On Political Parties in Ukraine’, the NACP shall, within 10 calendar days of the expiry of the deadline for political parties to submit their reports, publish on its official website a list of political parties that have failed to submit their reports within the specified timeframe. The NACP must also ensure that those responsible are held accountable in accordance with the law.
Failure to submit a report is punishable under Article 212-21 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offences (CUAP). This includes, in particular, the imposition of a fine ranging from 300 to 400 non-taxable minimum incomes, i.e. from 5 100 to 6 800 UAH.
It should be noted that over 110 political parties failed to submit reports to the NACP for the first quarter of 2026.
