The National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) has signed memorandums of partnership and cooperation with the "After Service" Charitable Foundation and the "Kyiv City Center for Comprehensive Support of Combatants “KYIV MILITARY HUB”.

Together with these organizations and with the support of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, a project will be developed to engage veterans in NACP.

The memorandums provide for coordination and advisory support in the employment of war veterans (combatants) and their family members, and the parties will participate in the implementation of joint projects, events and programs.

The cooperation envisages mutual assistance and advisory support in the area of adaptation, creation of an environmentally friendly and accessible environment for war veterans and their family members who plan to become part of NACP team.

“The ability of the state and society to effectively address the problems of veterans and their families is a kind of maturity test, an indicator of our shared responsibility and gratitude to the people who defend our freedom. Ultimately, this is a matter of social justice and the state's readiness to adapt to the expected post-war realities. That is why creating comfortable conditions for veterans to return to civilian life requires systematic and coordinated actions. We are ready to offer war veterans responsible positions in the NACP with appropriate conditions so that people who have proven their patriotism on the military front have the opportunity to defend our values of justice on the frontlines of fighting corruption,” said NACP Head Viktor Pavlushchyk.

Ruslan Prykhodko, Deputy Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, also noted that veterans returning from war have a heightened sense of justice. It is necessary to create all the right conditions to engage them to become leaders in shaping the anti-corruption culture in Ukraine and fighting corruption, so there are tools and opportunities.
