New components from "Shaheds", "Kalibr" and "Iskanders": NACP updates database of foreign components in weapons and adds subscription function

22.12.2023

The National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) continues to fill the world's only open database of foreign components in weapons on the War and Sanctions portal. The list has increased by almost 200 parts and now includes more than 2,600 foreign components in Russian and Iranian weapons. Among the new items are parts for Shaheds, Kalibr, Iskanders, and the Kometa system.

In addition, the NACP has added a subscription function for updates to the Database. This should significantly speed up the exchange of information between all those interested in uniting around the non-proliferation of technology to aggressors and ensuring global peace. From now on, investigative journalists, officials, or anyone interested anywhere in the world will be able to receive operational updates with a list of new components to their email address.

The following components have been added:

- Transceiver of the global navigation system for satellite positioning "Kometa" (CRPA-antenna);

- Equipment for consumers of information of satellite navigation systems SN-99M for cruise missiles 3M-14 "Kalibr", X-101, "Iskander-K" and 9M544 rockets for MLRS "Tornado-S";

- Iranian-made Shahed-136 (Geranium-2) UAV (differs from the samples already available in the database by a much larger number of identified components - more than 150 pieces).

The NACP expresses its deep respect and gratitude to the Ukrainian military who seized these weapons, as well as to the State Research Institute of Forensic Expertise and other research centers for the work done to investigate and identify these components.

We remind you that the role of the NACP in sanctions policy is defined in the Roadmap for Individual Sanctions developed by the Stanford International Working Group on Russian Sanctions. In particular, the NACP identifies companies that supply electronic components to Russia.
