The prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPО), based on materials from the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) and evidence independently obtained in accordance with the law, filed a claim with the High Anti-Corruption Court seeking to recognize as unjustified assets of the Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine – the Chief Sanitary Doctor of Ukraine – worth over UAH 3.2 million and to recover them in favor of the state (civil confiscation).
In 2021–2022, the official acquired two land plots and two residential houses in Kyiv Oblast. However, an analysis of the official’s income and expenditures established that it was impossible to acquire these assets from lawful sources.
Under these circumstances, the SAPO prosecutor filed a claim with the court to recognize these assets as unjustified and to recover them in favor of the state in accordance with Article 290 of the Civil Procedure Code of Ukraine.
The High Anti-Corruption Court has imposed a seizure on the mentioned assets.
