Prosecutors from the Specialised Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO), based on materials from the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) monitoring the lifestyle of the former head of one of the district councils in the Rivne region, and materials from the State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) filed a lawsuit with the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) to recognise the assets of the former head of one of the district councils in the Rivne region as unjustified in the Rivne region amounting to over UAH 5.6 million and to seize them for the state.

It has been established that the official acquired five land plots in the Kyiv region without having any legal income or savings.

If the claim is upheld, the assets will be confiscated in accordance with Article 290 of the Civil Code of Ukraine.
