Based on the materials of full verifications of declarations conducted by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP), courts have brought two more local council deputies to administrative liability for submitting declarations with inaccurate information.
In particular, by the ruling of the Krynychanky District Court of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, a deputy of the Bozhedarivka Village Council of Kamianske Raion of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast was found guilty of committing an administrative offence under Part 4 of Article 172-6 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses (CUaAO).
In the reporting year 2024, the deputy purchased a Volkswagen Touareg vehicle (model year 2024) worth over UAH 2.8 million. During the check of the declaration, he explained the origin of more than UAH 1.9 million used for its purchase as a gift from his mother. Information about this gift was not declared. In addition, information about an agricultural land plot leased by him with an area of 110,974 sq.m, located in Katerynopil Raion of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, is also absent from the declaration. The total amount of inaccurate information is over UAH 2 million.
The court found the deputy guilty and imposed an administrative penalty in the form of a fine of UAH 17 thousand. The ruling has entered into force.
Also, by the ruling of the Tyvriv District Court of Vinnytsia Oblast, a deputy of the Gnivan City Council of Vinnytsia Oblast was found guilty of inaccurate declaration.
During the full verification of his declaration for 2024, it was established that the deputy concealed from his declaration his own funds in bank accounts amounting to over UAH 958 thousand and a residential house with an area of 195.7 m² in Vinnytsia Oblast, worth UAH 1.1 million. The court found the deputy guilty and imposed an administrative penalty in the form of a fine of UAH 17 thousand. The ruling has entered into force.
The results of full verifications indicate that concealing property, income, or monetary assets does not go unnoticed, and the established violations entail the liability provided for by law.
