Head of NACP, Director of NABU, and Acting Head of SAPO call on GlobE Network to suspend Russia's membership
Head of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) Oleksandr Novikov, Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) Artem Sytnyk and Acting Head of the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) Maksym Hryshchuk appealed to the Global Operational Network of Anti-Corruption Law Enforcement Authorities (GlobE Network) in order to terminate Russia's membership in the organization.
"In light of this extraordinary situation, we urge the Chair, the Vice-Chair, and the Supervisory Board of the GlobE Network to urgently convene an extraordinary session of the GlobE Plenary to pass necessary amendments to the GlobE Charter and terminate the membership of the Russian Federation in the Network. We ask you to add your voices to those who condemn this barbarian attack of the Russian Federation”, - stated the leaders of anti-corruption institutions.
GlobE Network is an international platform for cooperation between anti-corruption bodies, organized by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime. GlobE consists of 92 organizations from 55 countries. The Network is currently chaired by Spain.
