Luxury cars and commercial real estate: former head of Khmelnytskyi migration service to stand trial for false declaration

09.04.2026

Prosecutors of the Office of the Prosecutor General, based in part on the materials of a comprehensive audit of the declaration conducted by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP), have submitted an indictment to the court in criminal proceedings against the former head of the Main Directorate of the State Migration Service of Ukraine in Khmelnytskyi Region for false declaration.

During the comprehensive audit of the 2023 declaration, it was established that the official concealed assets registered in his wife's name, totalling over UAH 30 million, including:

  • Two AUDI Q5 vehicles (2023 and 2011 models) and an AUDI Q8 (2023 model), with a total value exceeding UAH 5 million;
  • Commercial premises in Khmelnytskyi with a total area of over 1,200 sq. m, valued at approximately UAH 24.7 million, which his wife used for business activities in the furniture and lighting fixtures trade.

The actions of the accused are classified under Part 2 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (submission of knowingly false information in a declaration).

The prehistoric investigation was conducted by investigators of the Main Investigation Department of the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI), with operational support from the regional office of the same bureau in the city of Khmelnytskyi.

It is noted that after the exposure, the official resigned from his position.

Note: Pursuant to Part 1 of Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and shall not be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proved through legal procedure and established by a court's verdict of guilty.
