The Investigation Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Rivne region, under the procedural guidance of the Rivne Regional Prosecutor’s Office, including on the basis of a full audit of the declaration conducted by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP), notified the director of the municipal enterprise Children’s Health and Recreation Complex “Electronik – Rivne” of the Rivne City Council of suspicion of false declaration.
In particular, in his 2022 declaration, the official “forgot” to declare:
- an unfinished construction project – a residential house with a total area of 374.7 m², located on a land plot he owns, worth almost UAH 8.2 million;
- his wife’s financial obligation in the amount of USD 170,000, equivalent to UAH 4.6 million.
The total amount of false information indicated in the declaration exceeds UAH 12.8 million.
The official is charged with knowingly entering false information in the declaration (Part 2 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Note. In accordance with Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime until his guilt is proven in court and established by a conviction.
