Prosecutors of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, based, in particular, on the materials of a full verification conducted by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP), notified the Director of the Department of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development of the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA) of suspicion of submitting knowingly inaccurate information in the 2023 declaration for UAH 22 million.

During the NACP full verification, the official did not confirm the financial capacity to save cash in the amount of UAH 8.7 million, USD 525 thousand, and EUR 73 thousand, which in total is equivalent to UAH 31.7 million.

An analysis of the financial and property status of the official established that the amount of possible savings from income obtained from confirmed sources could not exceed UAH 9.7 million; therefore, the declared information about cash differs by UAH 22 million.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Investigation Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kyiv, with the operational support of the Strategic Investigations Department of the National Police of Ukraine.

The official is charged with intentional entry of knowingly inaccurate information into the declaration (Part 2 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Disclaimer. According to part one of Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in accordance with the law and established by a court's guilty verdict.
